New to boating? Begin with the essentials
Boating Essentials is a free six-lesson introduction covering boat language, lookout, lights, safety, weather and VHF foundations. It takes about 90–120 minutes and leads into the free knowledge assessment.

No. Quizzes connected to a course you own are unlimited and do not consume standalone quiz credits.
Can I learn at my own pace?

Does Learn2Boat issue a boating licence?
No. Learn2Boat teaches theory, recognition and decision-making. For formal certification or practical instruction, use our separate training pathway.
